The Opera Theatre atrium at K11 MUSEA hosted YSL's Qixi-timed pop-up built as a metro platform.

K11 MUSEA sits on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront at Victoria Dockside, a mall organised around art, design and retail. The Opera Theatre atrium on the ground floor is an interior hall opening off the main circulation, tall enough to hold large installations and typically used for exhibitions, seasonal displays and brand activations rather than permanent tenancy.
For this project the atrium was rebuilt as a subway platform: beige-grey square tiling on the walls, track markings and station signage, with a large "Preference Station" signboard as the visual anchor. The floor plan was split into a platform photo area, a hand cream trial counter, a video screen zone and a gift redemption counter, forming a single loop of viewing, testing and collection.
The atrium's height and open frontage let a full environment be built and seen from the mall's circulation routes, drawing walk-in traffic without ticketing. Its position inside a mall with a cultural programme makes it suited to narrative sets that people photograph and share, and to activations timed to festivals.
