Western China International Expo City hosted Volvo's Chengdu Motor Show booth and launch programme.

Western China International Expo City is a purpose-built exhibition complex in Chengdu's Tianfu New Area. Its halls and service areas support vehicle displays, temporary stages and visitor movement during trade fairs. The venue is normally used for industry expos, consumer shows and motor events, with arrival, loading and circulation areas that allow exhibitors to build stands indoors.
Inside the hall, the Volvo stand combined a stage with vehicle displays. The media-day programme included a launch presentation and two conversations involving Xu Zhiyuan, Gao Yuanyuan, Yuan Xiaolin and Qin Peiji. On public days the same footprint was open to visitors moving between vehicles and stage. Booth build was by Uni Marketing; operations by Jiguang Holdings, per the source.
Motor shows suit this venue because exhibitors need covered halls, vehicle access and defined visitor routes in an indoor environment. The expo complex already hosts industry and consumer events, so a car launch can rely on established hall logistics while separating media programming from public attendance.
