Shanghai Expo Ship Pavilion hosted the launch of the Volvo New S60, with a woodland-themed installation and AR product experiences.

The Shanghai Expo Ship Pavilion is an exhibition venue on the former World Expo site in Shanghai. It is a large indoor hall used for exhibitions, launches and public events, with open volumes that accept temporary structures. Its position within the Expo area places it among other cultural and event venues rather than in a shopping or street context.
Inside the hall, the launch set an entrance sequence after security, a star corridor and vehicle display, a central woodland with a jazz band, and timber car platforms. A Huawei app enabled AR car viewing, and a timber cabin contained a screen. A mingle area used real plants and green ground for display and product contrasts.
The pavilion's open exhibition hall allows large temporary sets, vehicle platforms and controlled circulation without permanent alterations. Its Expo-site identity supports launches that need a destination venue rather than a retail setting. The scale accommodates separate entrance, display and mingling zones within one indoor environment.
