Ansha International Conference Center in Shanghai hosted the launch of the new Volvo XC60, with mingle, presentation and carnival zones inside the convention venue.

The venue is a conference and events center in Shanghai, built for corporate meetings, launches and large-format gatherings. Its interior is organised around flexible halls and support spaces that can be divided into arrival, presentation and hospitality zones. It operates as an enclosed, neutral setting rather than a retail or street-facing site, with infrastructure for staged presentations and controlled guest circulation.
The venue was divided into distinct areas for the launch. It handled check-in, entry, rest, drinks and selfies in a mingle zone. It staged a sequence moving from conversation to car reveal, talks and a song in the launch area. It added a carnival area with football and cheering, and kept mask reminders visible in the mingle area.
The venue suits a car launch because it provides enclosed, controllable halls for staged reveals and separate guest-flow zones. It can absorb arrival, hospitality, presentation and carnival activities without depending on street traffic or retail footfall. The venue's neutral interior lets the launch build temporary rooms and sequences inside a single address.
