Jinwan Plaza hosted a Volvo safety driving experience camp with a raised test-drive lane and XC model displays.

Jinwan Plaza is a waterfront public plaza and mixed-use complex in central Tianjin, set beside the Hai River. Its open paved areas, surrounding commercial buildings and central-city location make it a venue for public gatherings, promotions and temporary outdoor installations. The site is normally used for circulation, leisure and commercial activity rather than fixed exhibition programming.
For the Volvo event, the plaza held a temporary driving-experience layout. A raised six-metre test-drive lane was installed, with five simulated road conditions for the XC series. A VR experience area and a Nordic-themed setting supported the programme, while the three XC models were presented within the same outdoor footprint. Visitor circulation moved between the driving route, technology area and vehicle display.
Open plaza space can accommodate a raised driving route and vehicle movement, which indoor venues generally cannot. Its central Tianjin location and public setting support visitor flow, while the waterfront commercial surroundings give the event a city backdrop without requiring a purpose-built track.
