Hefei International Convention and Exhibition Center hosted a Volvo safety driving experience camp with temporary test tracks and a night session.

Hefei International Convention and Exhibition Center is an exhibition and convention venue in Hefei, organised around halls and exterior hardstanding used for trade fairs, consumer shows and temporary event builds. For driving programs, its outdoor event ground is the relevant setting: a controlled surface away from ordinary city traffic, with space for course furniture, vehicle staging and spectator circulation. The complex combines exhibition halls with exterior areas, allowing indoor and outdoor parts of an event to operate together.
During the Hefei round, the venue's exterior event area was laid out as a driving course. A straight lane was set for acceleration runs, a slalom section for steering control, and a simulated log-road section for suspension and traction. A night session extended the programme. Vehicles and participants moved between briefing, staging and track zones, with the course separating driving activity from spectator circulation.
Driving experience programmes need controlled surfaces, room for temporary course furniture and a site that can hold vehicles and visitors without interrupting city traffic. An exhibition center's exterior grounds provide that separation, while adjacent halls and service areas support staging, registration and queuing for a public event.
