An open-air plaza in Chengdu's Taikoo Li district hosted a Qixi-themed jewellery影像 exhibition built from faceted sculptural installations.

Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu is an open-air retail district in Jinjiang district, arranged as low-rise lanes and courtyards around the preserved Daci Temple rather than as an enclosed mall. Man Plaza, its central paved square, is unroofed and publicly accessible; it is normally used for circulation, lingering and occasional brand displays, with shoppers and temple visitors passing through at most hours.
The plaza was occupied by staggered angular installations modelled on diamond facets, finished in matte off-white with Tiffany-blue accents. Freestanding panels printed three narrative chapters, and image vitrines stood alongside them. Visitors walked between the pieces at ground level, posed with hand gestures at marked points, and produced photographs intended for social platforms; there were no enclosed rooms, so the display read as outdoor sculpture.
Taikoo Li's lane layout pushes foot traffic through its open plazas, so an unroofed installation reaches people who did not come for it. The district's heritage setting and luxury tenant mix make a jewellery brand's sculptural display legible without ticketing, and evening crowds extend viewing hours.
