Capella Hotel Taipei hosted The Balvenie Rare Collection Appreciation, a VIP whisky dinner marking the Taiwan debut of a 50-year-old expression.

Capella Hotel Taipei is a newly opened five-star hotel in Taipei. Its event and dining spaces are arranged for hosted meals and private gatherings, with service areas that support seated dinners, presentations and small-format brand experiences. The hotel sits within Taipei's urban hospitality scene and provides a formal setting for invited guests.
The hotel's dining and event space was arranged for a seated VIP dinner, with separate areas for customised metalwork and cocktail making. Guests moved between the dining setting and hands-on stations. The room was dressed with brass linework and wood structures referencing oak casks, plus yellow accents drawn from Samuel Ross's design language.
A newly opened five-star hotel suits an invited whisky appreciation dinner because it offers formal dining rooms, controlled access and hospitality service. The private-event context supports a slow seated tasting and hands-on stations, while the brand's brass and wood set dressing remains contained within the room.
