The Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai hosted a touring exhibition on Betty Catroux, staged across its galleries with a mirrored entrance and a ramp-mounted video route.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai is a contemporary art museum set inside People's Park in central Shanghai, close to the city's main commercial streets. Its galleries are arranged over several levels: ground-floor exhibition rooms, a sloping ramp that carries visitors up to the second floor, a café on the third floor and an upper level that looks out over the park. It normally hosts rotating art and design exhibitions.
The exhibition followed a fixed route through the museum. Visitors entered past a mirrored installation in which two figures appeared together only as reflections, then moved through numbered positions in sequence. The ramp from the first to the second floor carried footage of Betty Catroux, and a later gallery held a tuxedo from Yves Saint Laurent's last collection, introduced by a staff member to each visitor. Exit was by lift to the ground floor.
A ticketed art museum suits a fashion exhibition: galleries impose a controlled, sequential route, a ramp turns circulation into display space, and the park setting separates the visit from retail. The café and upper-floor outlook extend dwell time well beyond the show itself.
