A former World Expo exhibition hall in Shanghai hosted a six-room immersive brand exhibition by Rolls-Royce over five days in July 2019.

The Shanghai Expo Creative Show Space is a large-format exhibition hall on the former Shanghai World Expo grounds, a district of oversized pavilions and open plazas built for the 2010 fair and since reused for fairs, product launches and cultural events. Its interiors are tall, column-free and unadorned, giving producers a blank shell that can be partitioned into rooms, blacked out, or loaded with scenery.
The hall was divided into six separately themed rooms. An RR Space used LED screens and projection to present the marque's history and landmark cars; an RR Station recreated an old British underground station with graffiti applied over period detailing; a Reversing Tanks room built a water installation around the Black Badge models. Visitors moved room to room in sequence.
Immersive brand exhibitions depend on a controllable shell: high ceilings for projection and suspended scenery, an open floor plate for sequential room-by-room circulation, and enough distance from retail frontage to hold visitors for an extended timed walkthrough. The Expo site's hall provides that neutrality and scale, and its location draws a citywide audience.
