Chengdu Huaizhou Airport hosted Lamborghini's brand day and 60th anniversary celebration, with classic and current models displayed on the airfield apron.

Chengdu Huaizhou Airport is a general-aviation airfield serving the Chengdu area. Its working surfaces are runways, taxiways and broad concrete aprons, with terminal and support buildings set apart from the movement area. Normally the site handles general aviation operations, so it offers large flat expanses, perimeter control and vehicle access that urban venues cannot provide.
For the anniversary, the airport apron was adapted into a temporary event ground. Classic Miura and Diablo models were displayed, while current models were arranged into a '60' formation. The open concrete surface allowed the cars to be grouped and viewed from several sides, with visitor circulation between the vehicle displays rather than through a building.
Airport aprons suit large automotive brand days because they provide a controlled, flat, open surface away from city traffic. Cars can be driven, parked in formation and viewed at a distance, while access can be managed at the airfield perimeter. The setting also separates the event from retail or museum contexts.
