MixC World Shenzhen’s mxtr street hosted Prada’s Spring Market, an open-air pop-up combining fragrance, makeup, fruit and flowers.

MixC World Shenzhen is a mixed-use retail complex in Shenzhen’s Nanshan district. Its mxtr street is an outdoor pedestrian retail district within the complex, lined with storefronts and open walkways. The street is normally used for shopping, dining and public circulation, and its open-air layout allows temporary structures and event programming to be placed along the pedestrian route.
For the project, mxtr street was arranged as an open-air market. A large yellow gateway and wooden crates bearing the brand’s triangular logo formed the main visual elements. Fragrance and makeup were displayed among lemons, green apples and real spring flowers. Four themed stalls—a windmill fragrance pavilion, photo steps, a flower shop and a fruit stall—created a stamp-collecting route that ended at a makeup room.
The outdoor street district suits a market format because it already supports browsing, wandering and casual stops between stores. Its pedestrian circulation can hold temporary stalls and photo moments without closing the retail frontage. An open-air setting also makes the fragrance and makeup experience feel like part of everyday street life rather than a closed luxury interior.
