Minsheng Wharf Silo Hall hosted Prada's Spring/Summer 2020 men's fashion show, with a linear catwalk cutting through the former industrial silo.

Minsheng Wharf Silo Hall is a converted industrial silo building on Shanghai's East Bund waterfront. The hall is large and labyrinthine, with tall cylindrical silo structures and a long longitudinal interior axis. It sits within the Minsheng Wharf redevelopment, a former port area now used for cultural and event programming. The space is normally read as a raw heritage shell rather than a finished gallery.
For the show, a linear catwalk was installed along the hall's longitudinal axis, cutting through the silo interior. Guest seating and production lighting were arranged around this runway, turning the industrial shell into a controlled show environment. The route used the depth of the hall to stage the collection, with the after-party programmed separately by the event team.
Fashion shows suit this venue because its long interior axis gives a clear runway route, while the silo shell provides a distinct industrial backdrop. The hall's scale and rawness allow temporary seating, lighting and set elements to be inserted without competing with permanent displays.
