iapm Mall's atrium hosted a Prada pop-up conceived as a railway station with a silver train carriage.

iapm Mall is a shopping complex in Shanghai with a central atrium that serves as an indoor gathering and circulation space. The atrium sits within the mall's retail floors and is normally crossed by shoppers moving between stores. It is a covered, public-facing environment rather than a dedicated gallery, and it hosts temporary installations and brand presentations.
For this project, the atrium was arranged as an imagined railway station. A silver train carriage formed the centrepiece, and the limited-store activity was built around it. Shoppers encountered the installation while moving through the mall's indoor circulation, so the pop-up operated as both a retail stop and a passage-side spectacle within the central void.
A mall atrium suits a fashion pop-up because it captures existing foot traffic and gives a compact installation a public stage. The enclosed retail setting supports short dwell times and impulse visits, while the train concept turns a circulation space into a destination within the mall.
