Yakeshi's snow-covered ground hosted Porsche Ice Force 2021, a two-day ice-driving programme that ran between 3 January and 6 February 2021.

Yakeshi sits in the Hulunbuir region of Inner Mongolia, where winter air holds around minus 30 degrees Celsius, as the record notes. The venue is an open, snow-covered ground reached from Hailar, laid out with ice surfaces for vehicle work rather than for public visiting. It carries no fixed retail or exhibition infrastructure; the terrain, packed snow and cold are the conditions the site provides.
During the programme the ground was divided into ice tracks and training zones, with circulation moving between driving modules rather than through rooms. A 911 course ran on cars fitted with 2.5mm studded tyres, a 718 ice challenge and a Taycan ice-driving session were added, and flagship models were available for test drives. Sessions ran across two days.
Cold-weather driving programmes need space, controllable surfaces and consistent low temperatures, which this ground supplies without competing public traffic. Because the site carries no permanent fit-out, the course can be rebuilt for different levels and car types each season, and the surrounding climate is itself part of what participants come to experience.
