TX Huaihai hosted the debut of a Porsche 996 swan artwork by Chris Labrooy, marking Porsche's 20th anniversary in mainland China.

TX Huaihai is a retail and cultural complex on Huaihai Middle Road in central Shanghai. It houses shops, food and beverage outlets and event spaces across a multi-level building, with public circulation connecting the floors. The venue is normally used for retail, youth-culture programming and brand presentations, and its street-facing position places it within the Huaihai Road shopping district.
For this project, the Porsche 996 swan artwork was installed within the complex, where shoppers and passers-by could encounter it during the activation period. The work was presented as an artwork unveiling rather than a vehicle showroom, with the surrounding retail circulation left open. No separate zones, ticketing or constructed enclosure are verified in the record.
TX Huaihai's retail setting and youth-oriented programming bring foot traffic and a culture-seeking audience. A compact art installation can sit within the mall's everyday circulation, reaching people who are already shopping or attending other events. This suits a brand anniversary artwork that needs visibility without a dedicated museum or showroom visit.
