Shenzhen Value Factory hosted the launch of the new Porsche Macan, with performance-led zones built through its industrial event spaces.

The venue

Shenzhen Value Factory is an industrial-style event venue in Nanshan, Shenzhen, occupying former factory buildings adapted for exhibitions, performances and brand events. Its raw structural halls, exposed columns and large open floors allow temporary zones and staging to be inserted. The site sits within Nanshan and is normally used for cultural programming, shoots and large-format presentations rather than permanent retail.

How the space was used

For the Macan launch, the venue was divided into named zones: a 70th-anniversary heritage display, Escape the City, Above it All and The Ultimate Thrill. The core hall held the product reveal, while the other spaces staged performance and interaction. Performers guided visitors between areas, and a finale by Fuerza Bruta introduced the car.

The venue's raw halls and structural columns suit a launch that depends on spatial separation and live performance rather than a conventional showroom. Temporary stages, rock-like forms and performance areas can be built without competing with permanent fittings, letting the car reveal sit at the end of a guided route.
