Shanghai International Circuit hosted the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia season finale and Champion Night awards ceremony during the 2018 race weekend.

Shanghai International Circuit is a permanent motorsport venue in Shanghai's Jiading District. It is built around a race track, with pit and paddock areas, grandstands and event hospitality spaces used during race weekends. Outside competition, the circuit functions as a large-scale event site, with trackside and paddock buildings supporting ceremonies, guest programmes and vehicle-related activities.
During the 2018 season finale, the circuit hosted the last two rounds of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia alongside the World Endurance Championship Shanghai round. The Champion Night awards ceremony took place within the race weekend, and guest areas included racing simulators. The venue's trackside and hospitality spaces supported the ceremony, guest programme and circulation between activities.
A permanent race circuit suits a motorsport award ceremony because the track, pit and paddock setting connects the celebration directly to the season's competition. Guests can move between racing and ceremony activities within one venue, keeping the event tied to the championship environment.
