Shanghai International Circuit hosted the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia 20th-anniversary season finale, turning its racetrack and paddock over to the one-make series.

Shanghai International Circuit is a permanent motorsport racetrack in Shanghai, built around a closed racing layout with pit lane, paddock, grandstands and spectator concourses. It is normally used for circuit racing, team testing and large-scale motorsport events. The venue separates competition areas from public viewing zones, allowing race operations, team support and audience circulation to run alongside each other.
For the season finale, the circuit’s track hosted the series’ practice, qualifying and race sessions, while the pit lane and paddock supported team garages, car preparation and race control. Grandstands and spectator areas framed the racing, and the surrounding support zones handled team, media and spectator circulation across the event weekend. The layout kept race operations and public viewing in defined areas.
A permanent racetrack is suited to a one-make racing series because its track, pit lane and paddock are built for competition rather than temporary conversion. The venue lets teams work at the cars while spectators watch from dedicated areas, so the finale reads as a race event first, with brand presence embedded in the paddock and trackside environment.
