Porsche at Porsche Centre Shanghai Waigaoqiao — Porsche Service Experience Day (2019)

Porsche Centre Shanghai Waigaoqiao hosted a two-day after-sales service experience event for owners and media guests.

The venue

Porsche Centre Shanghai Waigaoqiao is an automotive dealership and service facility in the Waigaoqiao area of Pudong, Shanghai. It combines a vehicle showroom with workshops and customer areas used for sales, maintenance and owner appointments. The building sits within an industrial and logistics district near the port, rather than in a central retail or exhibition quarter. Its layout supports both public-facing displays and technical service operations.

How the space was used

For the service experience day, the centre's showroom and service areas were adapted into stations explaining maintenance processes and care for vehicle systems. Guests moved between displays and workshop zones, with the event theme drawn from the five elements of traditional Chinese medicine. Owner and media groups circulated through the venue, while the working service setting provided the backdrop for talks and demonstrations.

Why it works here

A Porsche Centre suits an after-sales service campaign because visitors see the actual environment where maintenance happens. The showroom and workshop allow technical care to be explained near the equipment and customer areas involved. Hosting owners and media in a working dealership keeps the message tied to routine service rather than a separate exhibition space.
