The National Exhibition and Convention Center hosted Porsche's booth at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show.

The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) is an exhibition complex in Qingpu District, next to the Hongqiao transport hub. Its halls are built for trade fairs, auto shows and consumer expos, with broad concourses linking them. Outside event periods, the complex operates as a scheduled venue for exhibitions and conferences rather than a permanent retail or cultural space.
For the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, Porsche occupied a booth within the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The stand was set inside the auto show's hall environment, where visitors moved between manufacturer displays. The project used the venue as a temporary brand presentation space rather than a standalone store, with the booth forming part of the fair's overall visitor route.
Auto shows are the venue's core use: exhibition halls give manufacturers a controlled indoor setting for vehicle displays, and the site's transport links bring in visitors already moving through the fair. A booth like Porsche's fits because it can be assembled within the hall and removed after the event, without changing the building.
