Mount Qingcheng hosted Porsche's media test drive for the Taycan, with routes from Chengdu into mountain roads and bamboo surroundings.

Mount Qingcheng is a mountainous scenic area outside Chengdu, reached by highway and local roads. It is not a single building but a landscape of forested slopes, bamboo groves, and winding mountain roads. The area is normally used for tourism, walking, and visits to temples and scenic sites. Its road network and open landscape allow driving routes to be staged across the mountain.
During the project, the mountain area acted as the destination for a two-day media driving experience. Journalists drove Taycan 4S and Taycan Turbo models from Chengdu, using highways and mountain roads, and used the bamboo surroundings for photography and video. The itinerary also included a welcome dinner at Anshun Bridge and local craft workshops, extending the program beyond the drive itself.
A mountain scenic area suits a vehicle test drive because it offers varied road conditions and a natural backdrop. The route from Chengdu gives media a mix of urban, highway, and mountain driving, while the bamboo landscape provides settings for photography and video without building a set.
