Lihpao Racing Park hosted Porsche's Taiwan launch of the eighth-generation 911, with a track-side ceremony and the start of a driving experience.

Lihpao Racing Park is a motorsport circuit in Taichung City, Taiwan. The venue is organised around a racetrack and its supporting areas, and is normally used for racing, driving programmes and vehicle events. Its setting places cars and driving at the centre of the visitor experience, with the track itself used as a stage rather than a conventional indoor hall.
For the Porsche 911 Taiwan launch, the circuit became the event venue. The launch was split between an afternoon media conference and an evening VIP event, both held at the track. Classic 911 generations, including the Porsche 356, appeared with live band accompaniment, a video traced the model's history, and the eighth-generation 911 was revealed as the closing element.
A racetrack suits a performance-car launch because the venue already communicates speed, engineering and driving. It allows a reveal to happen on the track rather than in a showroom, and it can host media and VIP audiences in the same setting before transitioning into a driving experience.
