Aranya's beachfront hosted Porsche's Character Space during the Aranya Theater Festival, with a 911 sculpture, theatre, drone and music performances.

Aranya is a coastal resort community in Qinhuangdao, Hebei, set beside the Bohai Sea. Its beach is a broad, open stretch of sand used for public gatherings, performances and seasonal cultural programming, especially during the Aranya Theater Festival. The shoreline sits away from the resort's residential lanes and courtyards, giving outdoor events a flat, open setting facing the water.
For the festival, the beach was occupied by a large Porsche 911 sculpture that served as the 'Character Space', anchoring the opening 'Character Night' and party. Around it, the project staged theatre performances, a drone display and music performances. At night the sculpture was lit in purple, turning the sand into a temporary outdoor auditorium and gathering point for audiences moving between the beach and the wider festival grounds.
Aranya's beach already functions as the festival's outdoor stage, so a large sculptural installation and performance programme fit its existing pattern of evening gatherings. The open sand can hold crowds and sightlines without interrupting the resort's everyday circulation, and the coastal setting gives after-dark lighting and sound a distinct backdrop.
