Wuzhen Water Theatre hosted a special screening and dinner party for Miu Miu's Women's Tales short-film series.

Wuzhen Water Theatre is an outdoor performance venue in Wuzhen, a canal town in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. It belongs to the town's theatre-festival circuit and is used for drama and festival performances. The venue sits beside the town's waterways and historic streets, giving audiences an open-air setting that differs from a standard cinema or conference hall.
For the project, the theatre became a screening room and dinner setting. On 26 April, guests watched the Women's Tales shorts and stayed for a dinner party, with a live performance. On 27 April, the associated lakeside theatre screened all 25 films through the day. The programme used stage, seating and surrounding areas for film, conversation and dining.
A theatre in a canal town gives a film series about women directors a cultural setting rather than a retail one. Wuzhen already carries film and drama festival associations, so a screening here reads as cultural programming. The venue's festival setting supports an evening event and a daytime screening.
