Miu Miu at Plaza 66 — Miu Miu Miutine Fragrance Wardrobe (2025)

Plaza 66 hosted Miu Miu's Miutine fragrance wardrobe pop-up, a temporary boutique built around scent cards, a light column and AR try-on.

The venue

Plaza 66 is a luxury shopping mall on Nanjing West Road in Shanghai, with retail floors and office towers. Its tenant mix is oriented toward fashion, beauty and accessories, and the mall is used for shopping, dining and brand presentations. Interior circulation moves visitors past luxury storefronts and open retail areas that can accommodate temporary installations.

How the space was used

For this project, the mall's retail space was arranged as a fragrance wardrobe. An entrance rail displayed scent cards on rotating hangers, a central quilted-glass light column provided a photo point, and a private mirror area used AR to present fragrance profiles. Visitors moved from the open entry display into more enclosed try-on zones.

The mall's luxury positioning and steady fashion traffic suit a fragrance pop-up that depends on browsing and try-on rather than appointment. Temporary retail units let the brand create an enclosed, domestic-scale interior within a busy shopping route, and the surrounding beauty tenants place the project within an existing compare-and-choose context.
