Beijing SKP's first-floor atrium and Shenzhen Bay MixC hosted Miu Miu's vinyl-record club pop-up, pairing the autumn/winter 2026 collection with a vintage listening room.

Beijing SKP is a department store complex on Jianguomenwai Avenue in the city's central business district; the project occupied its first-floor atrium, a circulation space between retail floors. Shenzhen Bay MixC is a mall in the Nanshan waterfront district, where the pop-up ran on an open concourse. Both venues are enclosed, high-footfall retail interiors with fixed ceiling heights and no daylight.
Inside the atrium, the space was built as a vintage record shop: dark lighting, a bar counter, a wall of vinyl sleeves, turntables with custom record jackets, listening stations with Marshall x Miu Miu headphones and speakers, and a DJ mixing console. Autumn/winter 2026 bags and footwear were placed on plinths and open shelving so visitors could handle them between listening stops.
Department-store atriums in central retail districts carry passing foot traffic that a free, walk-in music installation can convert into dwell time. The enclosed, dark-controllable interior supports a club-like lighting scheme that open-air retail cannot, and the format suits short tenancy without structural works.
