Louis Vuitton at Tank Shanghai — Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama Shanghai (2023)

The venue

Tank Shanghai is a contemporary art center in Shanghai's West Bund, housed in a group of former industrial oil tanks beside the Huangpu River. For this project, Tank Shanghai was taken over as a limited-time brand space for the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collaboration series over three days in early January 2023. The record documents the event on site and its communication output, but it does not specify individual zones, circulation or built elements. The venue therefore functioned as a short-run presentation environment rather than a long exhibition.
