Taikoo Li Qiantan hosted Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2024 men's pop-up, a limited-time retail and installation space timed to Lunar New Year.

Taikoo Li Qiantan is an open-air retail complex in Shanghai's Pudong district, arranged as low-rise blocks and pedestrian lanes rather than a single enclosed mall. Its covered walkways, plazas and storefront edges support both daily shopping and temporary brand installations. The site sits within a newer commercial district and draws foot traffic from nearby offices, residences and transport links.
For the project, a retail space was converted into a limited-time Louis Vuitton environment for the SS24 men's collection. The interior was arranged as a dragon-themed setting, linking product display with an immersive narrative rather than a standard shop floor. Visitors moved through the collection inside that constructed scene, with the Lunar New Year timing shaping the visual language.
Open-air retail complexes like Taikoo Li Qiantan already host high-footfall browsing and seasonal programming. A limited-time installation can sit within the shopping route, capture passers-by and support both collection viewing and social documentation. The venue's mix of lanes and plazas lets a brand create a distinct interior environment while remaining part of the complex's everyday circulation.
