Song Art Center in Beijing's 798 Art District hosted a one-day Louis Vuitton preview of hard trunks and home objects, styled with plants by MOSS.

Song Art Center is a gallery building inside Beijing's 798 Art District, a former industrial zone now given over to studios, galleries and exhibition spaces. Its halls carry a modern but restrained Eastern aesthetic, with white gallery rooms that can be divided into separate display areas. The building is normally used for art exhibitions, and its sequence of rooms allows visitors to move from one enclosed space to the next.
At the entrance, olive trees were placed along the approach with Chinese lion stone steles and Taihu stones, building a courtyard-like foreground beneath a wall of antique trunks. Inside, each gallery held a differently styled home display, with planting chosen to suit each room, including suspended arrangements hung from above. A further area presented the Objets Nomades travel furniture.
Gallery rooms suit an object-by-object preview: visitors move through enclosed spaces in sequence, so antique trunks, home pieces and travel furniture can each be read on their own. The art-district setting supports a design-and-craftsmanship framing rather than a retail one, and the entry sequence can be treated as a transitional courtyard before the displays.
