Shanghai Jing'an Kerry Centre hosted a Louis Vuitton Petite Malle pop-up built around inflatable hard-trunk forms and a hidden Speedy room.

Shanghai Jing'an Kerry Centre is a shopping mall in Shanghai's Jing'an district, part of a mixed-use complex. Its indoor retail floors and public concourses connect through internal circulation, with open areas used for temporary installations and events. The venue sits within the central commercial district and serves daily shoppers, office workers and visitors moving through the complex.
For the project, the mall's event area was wrapped in an oversized inflatable Petite Malle shell. A gold Damier checkerboard covered floor and walls, with raised sections forming display platforms. Pont Neuf street lamps, railings and arches were installed inside, and a bookshelf door led to a separate Speedy room with six suspended bags under spotlights.
Shopping malls in central Shanghai support temporary retail installations because they combine existing footfall, covered interiors and flexible event areas. This venue allows a brand to build a contained sequence of rooms and displays within a familiar retail setting, while keeping entry, circulation and product presentation controlled.
