Louis Vuitton at Shanghai IFC Mall — Louis Vuitton Blossom Jewellery Pop-up (2024)

Shanghai IFC Mall hosted Louis Vuitton's Blossom jewellery pop-up, presenting the Color Blossom collection alongside fine jewellery and watches.

The venue

Shanghai IFC Mall occupies the podium of the wider Shanghai IFC complex in Lujiazui, Pudong, where office towers and a hotel rise above the retail levels. The mall runs as a long glazed interior concourse lined with luxury tenancies, and its open circulation areas and atrium floors are regularly given over to temporary brand displays rather than permanent fit-out.

How the space was used

For this project a section of the mall interior was fitted out as a temporary jewellery space over three weeks. The build carried display cases for the Color Blossom collection together with the house's fine jewellery and watches, arranged so that visitors entered, moved past the pieces in sequence, and returned to the mall concourse. Dimensions are not verified.

Why it works here

Jewellery presentation depends on controlled lighting, secure cases and steady foot traffic. A mall of this type supplies all three without new construction: existing security and building services, an enclosed interior that can be darkened, and a resident luxury clientele already moving through the concourse on foot.
