A touring exhibition on the brand's history of artistic collaboration took over an event space at Qingdao's Olympic Sailing Center in 2022.

The Olympic Sailing Center is a marina complex on Fushan Bay in eastern Qingdao, built for the 2008 sailing competitions and retained afterwards as a waterfront public destination. It combines berths, promenades, piers and enclosed event halls. The venue named in the record is its No. 5 gate, an access point into the halls and quayside areas rather than a street address.
Inside the hall, the exhibition ran as a sequence of rooms: an immersive entrance with a digital portrait by Cao Fei, early twentieth-century custom trunks, Monogram bags reworked by artists and designers, the full Artycapucines series, and a selection from 200 bicentenary trunks by figures including Cao Fei, Liu Wei and Zhang Ding. Visitors moved one way through the sections.
A waterfront leisure complex draws steady foot traffic from residents and visitors, and its enclosed halls offer clear floor plates and controlled access for a ticketed show. The site's own maritime associations sit comfortably alongside a display built around trunks, travel and movement.
