Qiantan Taikoo Li in Shanghai hosted a Louis Vuitton chocolate store, open daily for retail and tasting.

Qiantan Taikoo Li is an open-air retail complex in Shanghai's Pudong district, part of the Qiantan area. It combines low-rise buildings, lanes, plazas and landscaped passages with luxury, lifestyle and dining tenants. Pedestrian routes link street-level storefronts with public seating and gathering spaces, so visitors move through the complex on foot rather than within a single enclosed mall.
The unit operated as a dedicated chocolate shop within the complex. Its storefront and interior were fitted out for Louis Vuitton's chocolate range, with products developed by chef Maxime Frédéric and motifs drawn from the house's codes. The store opened daily from 1pm to 6pm, giving visitors a retail and tasting stop along the mall's pedestrian route.
A luxury chocolate shop suits a mall whose tenant mix already supports fashion, lifestyle and food retail. The open-air circulation brings shoppers past storefronts between retail and dining stops, allowing a small-format food concept to work as a destination without a separate cultural venue.
