Musée d'Orsay in Paris hosted Louis Vuitton's Fall-Winter 2022 women's show, staging a runway presentation inside the former railway station's museum setting.

The Musée d'Orsay occupies a converted Beaux-Arts railway station on the Left Bank of the Seine in Paris. Its central nave is a long, vaulted hall normally used for displays and public circulation, with galleries opening off both sides. The museum sits in the city's central museum district, across the river from the Tuileries Gardens.
For the Louis Vuitton show, the museum's interior was adapted into a runway venue. A catwalk route was laid through the central hall, with guest seating set along its length and the vaulted architecture left visible as the backdrop. Circulation moved from the museum entrances into the hall, concentrating the presentation in one continuous interior space.
A museum with a large interior hall suits a fashion show because it provides covered circulation, controlled lighting and a cultural setting that can hold seating and production while keeping the building's exterior unchanged. The Orsay's nave gives the runway a long sightline and a recognizable Paris backdrop.
