Louis Vuitton Midosuji in Osaka hosted the opening of Le Café V and Sugalabo V, adding a café, cocktail bar and private dining to the store.

Louis Vuitton Midosuji is a luxury retail building in Osaka, designed by Jun Aoki with interiors by Peter Marino. Its exterior takes cues from a sailing ship, a reference to Osaka’s port heritage. The venue is normally used as a brand store, with retail areas, an outdoor terrace and dining spaces integrated into the building.
For the opening, the store’s interior was arranged around Le Café V, with a cocktail bar, dining area and outdoor terrace, plus Sugalabo V for private dining. Estudio Campana cocoon chairs from the Objets Nomades collection hang from the ceiling in Le Café V, and colorful chairs are set at the bar. The retail setting and dining rooms share one address.
A luxury store in Osaka can support this format because it already provides a controlled interior, a terrace and a built-in retail audience. Dining extends the visit beyond shopping, while the Objets Nomades furniture demonstrates the brand’s objects in use rather than on display.
