Fotografiska Shanghai hosted a Louis Vuitton limited-time space, using an outdoor forecourt, an indoor display area and a water bar.

Fotografiska Shanghai is a photography museum occupying a converted brick warehouse on the Suzhou Creek waterfront in central Shanghai. The building holds several floors of galleries with tall windows, exposed structure and open floor plates that can be cleared for temporary installations. It runs as a cultural venue with ticketed exhibitions, cafe and event areas, in a quarter of the city that draws design and retail traffic.
For this project the museum's outdoor forecourt served as arrival and gathering zone, marked by structures visible from the street. Inside, a display space was cleared for product presentation, with visitors moving past display tables in a set sequence. A water bar provided a rest point within the route. The three zones — forecourt, display area, bar — read as one continuous walk-through.
Fotografiska's visitors already arrive for image-based exhibitions, so a leather goods presentation sits alongside the museum's programme without requiring a change of habit. Open floor plates and industrial glazing allow temporary structures to be built with limited alteration, and the location in a design-oriented part of the city brings an audience that accepts brand installations within a cultural visit.
