An open-air mall plaza in Wuhan hosted Gucci Beauty's fragrance pop-up, built around a gilded bottle and a walk-through flower garden.

Wushang Mall Guoguang is a shopping mall on Jiefang Avenue in Wuhan's Hankou retail district. The project occupied the mall's outer plaza, the paved open-air forecourt beside the MaxMara storefront — a transitional zone between the street and the mall entrances that normally carries pedestrian traffic, seasonal displays and brand installations, and that stays visible to passers-by through the day and evening.
Within the plaza a gilded perfume bottle and a dense flower installation formed the core, arranged to read as a walk-through garden rather than a counter. Pale blooms dominated by day; after dark the lighting shifted the scene. A scent-trial point presented the vanilla-orchid fragrance alongside makeup and other scent lines, with staff guiding member registration, a time-slotted ice-cream giveaway and photo-taking.
Ground-level frontage on a commercial avenue lets a scent activation recruit visitors who never planned to enter the mall, while the open-air footprint accommodates freestanding flower structures and evening lighting. The adjoining luxury storefronts set the price context, and the photogenic installation gives passers-by a reason to stop and share.
