Shanghai IFC Mall in Lujiazui hosted a seven-day Gucci Cosmogonie themed temporary store within its retail floors.

Shanghai IFC Mall forms the retail podium of the Shanghai International Finance Centre complex in Lujiazui, Pudong, among the office towers and hotels of the city's financial district. Its trading area is arranged over several levels, with luxury fashion tenants occupying the lower floors and a concourse that carries shoppers between the towers, the surrounding blocks and the mall's own entrances.
For the run between 23 and 30 November 2022, part of the mall's retail floor was given over to the Gucci Cosmogonie themed temporary store. The published record documents the project on site but does not itemise zones, fixtures, materials or circulation, so the internal layout is not verified; the installation sat inside the mall's normal trading environment rather than a sealed hall.
Temporary luxury retail depends on existing premium footfall rather than ticketed entry, and a Lujiazui mall supplies it: office workers, hotel guests and shoppers already moving between towers and stores. A short run on the mall's retail floors reaches the brand's clientele where they already shop, without the cost of a standalone venue.
