The Ferrari factory in Maranello hosted the debut runway presentation of the brand's Spring 2022 ready-to-wear collection.

The venue is Ferrari's production complex in Maranello, a town outside Modena in Emilia-Romagna. It is an industrial site of assembly halls, workshops and internal service roads, normally given over to car manufacturing and staff circulation rather than public events. The buildings are large-span and utilitarian, with hard floors, high ceilings and open bays that connect the plant to the surrounding grounds.
For the presentation, the plant was reworked as a show venue: a runway was laid through the industrial interior, and guests were routed along the factory floor rather than through a conventional catwalk tent. The collection was shown as a live broadcast event, with the production architecture of the site left visible around the runway and the seating.
A factory suits a first ready-to-wear showing because the setting states the brand's origin without added scenography. Long industrial sightlines, plain surfaces and existing circulation routes allow a runway and guest flow to be inserted temporarily, then removed, without altering the working building.
