Plaza 66 hosted FENDI's Winter 2022 capsule pop-up, built around oversized Baguette bags and a Baguette-stacked Christmas tree.

Plaza 66 is a shopping mall in Shanghai. The FENDI installation occupied the ground-floor atrium, a central circulation space inside the mall, normally used for passage between retail floors and for mall-wide displays. The atrium is enclosed by surrounding storefronts, sits within the mall's retail environment and provides a large open floor area beneath the mall's interior levels.
For the project, the ground-floor atrium held a pop-up composed of multiple oversized Baguette bag forms arranged in sequence. Pink, sprout green and turquoise covered large surfaces, matching the capsule collection's main palette. A Christmas tree built from hundreds of Baguette bags was placed within the installation. The setup occupied the central open floor area, leaving surrounding mall circulation visible.
A mall atrium gives a fashion pop-up a central, pass-through position that captures shoppers moving between storefronts. The open floor area can hold large sculptural objects such as oversized bags, while the surrounding retail setting places the activation directly within the mall's everyday circulation.
