Dior Parfums at Shenzhen Bay MixC — MISS DIOR Fearless Love Journey (2026)

Shenzhen Bay MixC's B Zone East Plaza hosted a month-long MISS DIOR fragrance pop-up built around a pink bottle-shaped installation and scent-testing.

The venue

The B Zone East Plaza is an outdoor paved area attached to Shenzhen Bay MixC, a shopping complex in Shenzhen's Nanshan district. It sits at the edge of the mall's retail blocks, where foot traffic moves between entrances, storefronts and the street. Normally the plaza serves as circulation space and a setting for public events, with an open surface that can accommodate temporary structures.

How the space was used

During the project, the plaza contained a temporary pink pavilion organized around a large perfume-bottle installation at the entrance. Inside, zones for product display and scent testing led to a hand-rubbing station where visitors printed pledge motifs onto letter paper. The layout moved visitors from the street-facing bottle into the scented interior and out through the mall edge.

Why it works here

An outdoor mall plaza works for a fragrance launch because it catches both planned visitors and passing foot traffic, while allowing a freestanding structure that can be entered and exited separately from the stores. The open surface supports a large bottle landmark, and the adjacent retail edge keeps the activation connected to the mall.
