Shanghai's ZiWU hosted Dior's Fall 2021 men's collection as an art journey installation.

ZiWU is a cultural venue in Shanghai associated with art, design and publishing. It provides indoor rooms for exhibitions, book displays and small gatherings rather than a conventional retail floor. Its layout supports slow, close viewing, with display surfaces and quieter areas that suit installations and reading. The venue is used for browsing, talks and visual-art presentations as well as small-scale events.
For Dior's Fall 2021 men's collection, ZiWU was taken over by Kenny Scharf's colourful imagery. The installation turned the venue into a sequence of immersive scenes, with graffiti-like works and playful creature forms placed through the rooms. Visitors followed a route through the space, encountering the collection within a constructed cosmic environment rather than a standard retail display.
ZiWU's cultural programming and art-book context make it suited to a collection presented as an artistic collaboration. The venue's rooms allow visitors to encounter imagery and clothing at close range, while its existing audience for design and visual culture fits a project built around an artist's visual language rather than a conventional store.
