Vanke Songhua Lake Resort hosted a Dior Couture ice installation and temporary pop-up in January 2023.

Vanke Songhua Lake Resort is a ski resort in Jilin, set within a lake-and-mountain landscape and operated around winter sports. The venue combines ski terrain with resort lodging and service areas, and its public spaces are normally used by skiers moving between slopes, lifts and indoor facilities. In winter the resort functions as a seasonal destination where outdoor circulation and cold-weather activity shape how visitors encounter anything placed on site.
For this project the resort hosted a Dior Couture ice installation and a pop-up store, both temporary additions to the winter environment rather than permanent retail space. The record identifies the two elements but does not detail their internal layout or exact placement. Together they turned part of the resort's public areas into a branded encounter for visitors already moving through the ski area.
Ski resorts suit temporary brand installations because visitors are already in a leisure frame and move through shared outdoor areas at a slower pace. A cold-weather setting also gives ice-based display a fitting context. The resort's seasonal audience and contained geography make a short-lived pop-up legible without requiring permanent retail infrastructure.
