Dior at Three on the Bund — Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick Party 2020 (2020)

Three on the Bund hosted the 2020 Dior Rouge Dior lipstick party, using its waterfront event spaces for a multi-zone beauty launch.

The venue

Three on the Bund is a restored historic building on Shanghai’s Bund waterfront, positioned among the city’s older commercial architecture. It contains galleries, restaurants and function spaces across multiple floors, with interiors that mix retained architectural details and contemporary finishes. The building is used for dining, art exhibitions, private receptions and brand events, and its waterfront setting places it within the Bund’s visitor and evening economy.

How the space was used

For the Dior Rouge Dior lipstick party, Three on the Bund was organised into several distinct zones for guests to move through. The venue hosted interactive displays and product presentations, with areas set aside for guests to experience the lipstick range. Online and offline displays were synchronized within the space, and the venue’s event areas supported the evening’s circulation and hospitality.

Why it works here

Three on the Bund suits this type of launch because it combines a waterfront location with flexible event spaces in a heritage setting. The building already accommodates dining, art and private receptions, so a multi-zone beauty party can use its rooms and circulation without constructing a standalone venue.
