Taikoo Li Qiantan, an open-air retail precinct in Shanghai's Qiantan district, hosted a temporary Dioriviera capsule boutique over the summer.

Taikoo Li Qiantan is an open-air retail precinct in Pudong's Qiantan area, laid out as low-rise blocks and lanes rather than a single enclosed mall. Units open onto covered walkways and small plazas, with landscaping and seating between buildings. Visitors move between shops outdoors, so the precinct reads as a streetscape rather than an interior concourse, and its open frontages give tenants visible facades at ground level.
For this project the venue's street-level unit was converted into a temporary boutique for the Dioriviera capsule collection, with the brand's resort-themed fittings installed inside and the shopfront treated as a facade facing the lane. The same format ran concurrently at a CDF concept store in Sanya and at Shenzhen Bay MixC, with each site built to local floor conditions.
Summer resort-wear sits well with an open-air precinct: shoppers are already outdoors, moving between units, and a decorated shopfront reads at walking pace. The lane layout allows a temporary boutique to be entered casually rather than through a mall atrium, and short dwell times suit a seasonal capsule.
