Spring City 66 in Kunming hosted a temporary Dior boutique for the Cruise 2021 ready-to-wear collection.

Spring City 66 is a shopping mall in central Kunming operated by Hang Lung Properties. It forms part of a mixed-use development and contains indoor retail levels occupied by fashion, lifestyle and dining tenants. Its concourse and unit frontages support temporary retail installations, while circulation links street entrances, lifts and the main indoor shopping floors.
The temporary boutique presented Dior's Cruise 2021 ready-to-wear collection in a defined retail footprint inside the mall. Garments were shown in a shop-like setting with display fixtures and a frontage facing the mall's circulation. The installation ran as a limited-period format rather than a permanent store and was removed at the end of the schedule.
Luxury fashion pop-ups fit enclosed malls like Spring City 66 because the venue supplies passing footfall, climate control and a secure retail environment. A temporary boutique can sit alongside permanent luxury tenants, reach shoppers already in the mall and test a collection without committing to a long lease.
