Shanghai IFC hosted Dior's Summer 2026 collection pop-up, presenting Jonathan Anderson's debut ready-to-wear collection for the house.

Shanghai IFC is a retail complex in Lujiazui, Pudong, comprising a mall within the International Finance Centre development. Its floors are organised around international fashion brands, flagship stores and circulation routes connecting retail units. The venue is normally used for brand retail, product presentations and day-to-day shopping, with storefronts, shared areas and public circulation supporting temporary installations.
For the Dior Summer 2026 pop-up, the retail space was fitted with architectural geometric structures, mirrored stainless-steel display frames, minimal lines and soft lighting. These elements organise product display and visitor circulation within the existing storefront setting. The installation creates a futuristic retail scene while retaining the venue's function as a shopping environment, with the collection presented in a dedicated branded zone.
Shanghai IFC suits this activation because it concentrates international fashion retail in Lujiazui and draws mall visitors through a connected retail environment. A temporary installation can sit inside an existing retail setting, gaining visibility from passing shoppers while keeping the collection within a controlled brand environment.
