Hongbo Xicheng Red Square in Harbin hosted a Miss Dior limited-time experience store during spring 2023.

Hongbo Xicheng Red Square is a shopping and leisure complex in Harbin. It is normally used for retail, dining and public circulation, with indoor common areas that can be adapted for temporary brand installations. Storefronts and pedestrian routes around the complex support foot traffic, and the setting places the activation within an everyday commercial environment rather than a dedicated exhibition venue.
For the Miss Dior project, the venue’s indoor common area was arranged as a limited-time experience store. The installation grouped display and product areas with a route for visitors through the branded environment. The pop-up occupied the mall’s public-facing space rather than a separate gallery, so the project sat directly within the normal circulation of shoppers and passers-by.
A shopping complex suits a beauty pop-up because it already brings together retail traffic, leisure visitors and repeat footfall. A temporary experience store can use the common areas without requiring permanent building work, and the mix of storefronts and public routes lets the project meet people during ordinary shopping trips.
