A pink gift-box pop-up for the Dior Addict range occupied the street-facing entrance of a Hangzhou department store.

Hangzhou Wulin Intime is a department store in the Wulin commercial district of central Hangzhou, with its Building A entrance opening onto the street. The doorway gives onto a flat paved forecourt where shoppers move between the store's beauty counters and the surrounding retail blocks. The threshold is open, visible from the pavement, and normally used for circulation, promotional displays and seasonal store decoration.
During the project the forecourt was built out as a closed pink structure shaped like an oversized gift box, its entrance marked by a large bow and a neon strip. Inside, a single route passes a wall of backlit perfume bottles and product tables holding the Addict lip and fragrance range, with photo points placed along the way. Vintage-style plaster mouldings line the interior walls.
Department store entrances in this district see steady foot traffic from younger shoppers already moving between beauty counters. A contained, photogenic build at the door converts passers-by into visitors without requiring them to go inside the store, and it draws on the audience the surrounding retail already gathers.
